MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 18, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On December 10, 2008, at 14:40 pm, troopers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Cassell Blvd. for a possible burglary. Suspect was seen attempting to enter and fleeing from an unoccupied residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410) 535-1400.

UNLAWFUL DISTRIBUTION OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS: On December 10, 2008 at 3:00 pm, Sergeant L. Titus responded to Northern High School. Investigation revealed a 16-year-old male student from Chesapeake Beach was in possession of a knife and was distributing prescription drugs to other students at the school. The student was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and charged with JD-Unlawful Distribution of Prescription Drugs.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On December 12, 2008 at 16:10 pm, Trooper M. Haut stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver, identified as Jeffrey Alan Mills, 35, of Chesapeake Beach, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. A search incident to arrest revealed marijuana and prescription drugs. Mills was subsequently transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

ASSAULT: On December 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., Sergeant L. Titus responded to Calvert Middle School for an assault against a staff member. Investigation revealed a 15 year old student had become aggressive with a teacher. The subject was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and charged with JD-Unlawful Distribution of Prescription Drugs.

WEAPON ON SCHOOL PROPERTY: On December 15, 2008 at 1:10 pm., Sergeant L. Titus responded to Northern High School to investigate deadly weapon on school property. Investigation revealed a 15 year old student was in possession of a knife. The suspect was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and charged with JD-Concealed Weapon on School Property.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On December 15, 2008 at 5:55 pm, Trooper First Class J. Wiersma stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Rte. 4 south of West End Blvd. Investigation revealed the three juveniles in the vehicle were all in possession of marijuana. Subjects were transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and charged with Possession of Marijuana.
