St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Dec. 14, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On December 13, 2008 at 1:49 A.M. deputies responded to Clifton's Night Club in Clements for the report of a disorderly crowd. While disbursing the crowd Donarois P. Bradshaw, age 19, of Lexington Park, began acting in a disorderly manner by shouting profanities and screaming at the deputies. Bradshaw was ordered several times to discontinue his actions and leave the area. Bradshaw refused and was subsequently arrested, charged with disorderly conduct and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

WEAPONS VIOLATION: On December 12, 2008 at 11:00 P.M. Sdfc. P. Handy observed Andrew A. Ausby, age 20, of Lexington Park, exit his vehicle with a Machete and conceal it under his jacket. Sdfc. Handy approached Ausby and ordered him to surrender the weapon. Ausby initially refused but then threw the machete onto the roadway. Ausby then began to act in a disorderly manner by shouting profanities in a public place causing several residents to approach the scene. Ausby was arrested, charged with Possession of a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Disorderly Conduct and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY: On December 13, 2008 at 2:22 P.M. Sdfc. D. Reppel initiated a vehicle stop on Rt. 235 in Lexington Park for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle several weapons were observed inside the vehicle in plain view. A subsequent check of the weapons revealed they were stolen during a recent burglary. A 9mm Rifle, .44 caliber Handgun, .410 Shotgun, and a Crossbow was recovered. Robert J. Eberly, age 20, of Lexington Park, was arrested, charged with Burglary 2nd Degree/Firearms, Theft over $500, Theft under $500 and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On December 14, 2008 at 4:52 A.M. Deputies responded to a residence in Ridge for the report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated into a physical confrontation. The victim advised she was struck in the face by Stephen W. Wiley, age 52, of Ridge on December 11, 2008 and again on December 13, 2008. The victim had several lacerations and bruises as a result of the assault. Wiley was located at the residence, arrested, charged with Assault 2nd Degree and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
