Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 8, 2008) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: A home on Schooner Drive in Lusby was burglarized sometime between November 25 and 26. More than $1,400 in items were stolen, including a Wii game system, Xbox 360 game system and a black Ipod. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC James Bell at 410-535-2800.

THEFT: On December 3 at 9:14 p.m. Dep. Nicholas DeFelice arrested William J. Gray, Sr., 49, of Prince Frederick, at the Prince Frederick Safeway after he was observed stealing food items from the store. Gray was arrested and charged with theft.

BURGLARY: A home on Ranch Lane in Lusby was burglarized on December 4 sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. More than $500 in cash was stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Moises Velasquez at 410-535-2800.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: DFC Mark Robshaw charged a 15-year-old male of Prince Frederick with possession of marijuana after he was found to be in possession of it while at the Crossroads Church in St. Leonard on December 5 at 9:17 p.m. He was charged on a youth report and released to a parent.

DOP: Sometime between November 2 and December 6, unknown suspect(s) caused $1000 in damage to ten light fixtures on the walkway path of Southern Pines Apartments in Lusby.
Dep. Jonathan Parsons is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: Dep. Frank Winston conducted a traffic stop in the area of Spruce Street and Thunderbird Drive in Lusby on December 6 at 12:15 a.m. The driver, later identified as Kevin M. Smith, 27, of California, Md., was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

DOP: Unknown suspect(s) spray painted the siding on a house on White Sands Drive in Lusby causing $200 in damage. At this time it is unknown when the vandalism occurred. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Jonathan Parsons at 410-535-2800.
