LA PLATA, Md. (Dec. 4, 2008) - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident report.
CITIZEN ROBBERY: On Dec. 3 at 8:15 p.m., officers responded to Kings Wharf Place in Waldorf for the report of a citizen robbery. Investigation revealed the victim was walking home from a friend's house when he was approached by two suspects. One suspect asked for a cigarette and the other suspect displayed a handgun and stole the victim's money and cell phone. After the robbery, the suspects fled on foot. Officers canvassed the area and a K-9 track led them to a nearby neighborhood but the suspects disappeared. The suspects are described as black males, between 18 - 22 years old, approximately 6'0", with medium builds. One suspect had shoulder length dread locks. Officer S. Bryant handled the call.
