MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 3, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

TRESPASSING: On November 26, 2008, at 5:35 pm, Trooper Haut responded to a residence on Main Street in Prince Frederick for a reported trespasser. Kenneth Carroll Kedzierski, age 44, of Huntingtown, was asked to leave the residence several times because he was intoxicated. Kedzierski refused and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On November 28, 2008 at 11:24 pm, in the area of Route 4 and Lord Baltimore Drive, Trooper First Class Stein stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. During the traffic stop, the driver fled on foot. Trooper First Class Stein pursued the suspect and placed him under arrest a short distance later. The suspect was identified as David Alan Ferguson, age 19, of Huntingtown. A search of Ferguson and his vehicle revealed marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. A passenger, identified as Christina Marie Sita, age 19, of Huntingtown, was also arrested. Both were transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On November 26, 2008 at 7:19 am, Trooper First Class Greggs responded to Western Shores Civic Association Beach in Port Republic, for reported damage to a vehicle. Investigation revealed that sometime between 11:30 pm on 11/25/08 and 7:15 am on 11/26/08 someone broke the windows out of a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck which was left parked on the beach over night. MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On November 25, 2008 at 1:17 pm, Trooper First Class Greggs responded to a residence on Clay Hammond Road in Prince Frederick for a report of damage to a motorhome. Investigation revealed that sometime between 5:00 am and 8:30 am, someone fired a BB gun into the victim's 2008 Fleetwood Revolution motorhome leaving a hole in the side entry door and the refrigerator. POSSESSION OF DRUGS: On November 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm Sgt. Titus responded to Calvert High School for a reported student in possession of prescription drugs with the intent to distribute the same. Investigation revealed that a 16 year old male student from St. Leonard, stole several Xanex pills from his parents and was attempting to sell them. The student was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick barrack for processing.

THEFT: On November 19, 2008 at 1:30 pm, Sgt. Titus responded to Huntingtown High School for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that 16 year-old male student from Huntingtown, stole money from a teacher's purse. The student was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick barrack for processing.

BURGLARY: On November 24, 2008 at 9:00 am, Corporal White responded to West Mount Harmony Road in Owings for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed the victim returned home and discovered someone in his basement. The suspect fled from the rear of the residence. Items taken from the residence include $2825.00, a bottle of Oxycodone pills, and a bottle of Ambien pills. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410)535-1400.
