MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Nov. 17, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 7:35 pm, Tpr. J. Pilkerton responded to the reported domestic assault in the 40000 block of Wolf Drive in Mechanicsville. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 39, of Mechanicsville, who advised she was assaulted by Christopher Gareth Blyler, 40, of Mechanicsville. During the course of the investigation, all parties involved were interviewed and Mr. Blyler was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged with 2nd degree assault and held pending a bond review.

TRESPASSING, SUSPENDED LICENSE: On Friday, November 14, 2008 at 12:37 am, Tpr. M. Adams was conducting a patrol check at the 5th District Park in Mechanicsville, when he observed a gray Chevrolet Trailblazer parked in the park with the engine running. The vehicle was occupied by a 17 year-old juvenile male and a 14 year-old juvenile female. A routine MVA check revealed the driving privileges were suspended for the 17 year-old male and he was cited for same. The parents of both juveniles responded to the park to take custody of the juveniles. Both juveniles were charged with trespassing on posted property as the park is closed from sunset to sunrise. The juveniles were released to their parents pending further action by Juvenile Services.

SUSPENDED LICENSE, ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Friday, November 14, 2008 at 9:39 am, Matthew Lynn Guyer, 24, of Duncansville, PA was arrested by Tpr. W. Jefferson for possession of CDS. Mr. Guyer was operating a purple Chevrolet on Great Mills Road in the area of Essex Drive in Lexington Park when he was stopped for an equipment violation. A routine MVA check through Pennsylvania revealed Mr. Guyer was driving on a suspended license. Mr. Guyer was taken into custody. A search incident to arrest revealed Mr. Guyer was in possession of a prescription medication, Suboxone. Mr. Guyer was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

ASSAULT, UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE: On Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:02 pm, Lisa Ann Darr, 37, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. E. Page for 2nd degree assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Tpr. Page responded to the 23000 block on Town Creek Road in Lexington Park for the reported disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 48, of Lexington Park, who advised he was assaulted by Ms. Darr and she took his burgundy Ford Taurus without his permission. Ms. Darr and the vehicle were located at the WAWA on Three Notch Road at St. Andrews Church Road in California. Ms. Darr was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:40 am, Robert Vernon Bailey, 40, of Mechanicsville was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-13686) for Failing to Pay Deferred Payment of $557.50 to the District Court in Leonardtown. Mr. Bailey was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 5:15 pm, Steven M. Grove, 44, of St. Leonard was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-13706) for failing to follow conditions of probation. Mr. Grove was originally cited for driving while suspended. He was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:40 pm, Jason Patrick Stant, 33, of California was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-13708) for failing to appear in District Court in La Plata on November 6, 2008. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Mr. Stant was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 1:15 am, Antonio Wendell Chase, 22, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. E. Page on an outstanding arrest warrant (T3-13634) third degree burglary and malicious destruction of property under $500. Mr. Chase was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 11:54 am, Kathleen Marie Enterline, 23, of Hollywood was arrested by Tpr. M. Pitcher on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-13700) for failing to appear in District Court in Leonardtown on November 7, 2008. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Ms. Enterline was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.
