MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Nov. 13, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On November 11, 2008 at 1:00 pm Trooper Lewis investigated a reported burglary that occurred on Mill Creek Drive in Lusby. Sometime between November 6th and November 9th someone entered the victim's residence and stole a Mossberg 500, 12 gauge shot gun. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410) 535-1400.

THEFT: On November 8, 2008, at 4:11 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson responded Michael Drive in Lusby for a reported theft. Sometime between November 1st and November 8th, someone stole a black and white 2002 Yamaha 4-wheeler from the victim's shed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410) 535-1400.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On November 7, 2008 at 3:24 pm, Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for a seatbelt violation on Route 4 at Ward Road in Dunkirk. The driver, Stephanie Lauren Bates, 24, of Dunkirk, was driving on a suspended driver's license and placed under arrest. A search of Bates revealed drug paraphernalia with cocaine residue. Bates was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On November 7, 2008 at 12:02 pm, Trooper Haut responded to a single vehicle traffic accident on Route 4 in the area of Lower Marlboro Road in Sunderland. Upon making contact with the operator, Craig Allen Bowen, 50, of Huntingtown, Trooper Haut observed drug paraphernalia (cocaine "crack" pipe) on the floor board of his vehicle. Bowen was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On November 6, 2008 at 4:07 am, Trooper Donaldson stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 4 at Ward Road in Dunkirk. The driver, Cody Lee Barncord, 19, of Dunkirk was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. A search of Barncord and his vehicle revealed marijuana and paraphernalia. Barncord was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
