PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Nov. 7, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On October 28, 2008 at 5:48 pm Trooper First Class Stein was dispatched to a residence on Oyster Bay Place in Dowell, for the report of a stolen trailer. TFC Stein's investigation revealed that sometime between September 15th and November 4th a grey 1993 Escort boat trailer was stolen from the Calvert Marina boat yard. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, THEFT: On November 3, 2008, at 8:13 pm, Trooper First Class Murphy was dispatched to Hot Lick Guitars in Prince Frederick for a reported destruction of property and theft. Trooper Murphy's investigation revealed that around 6:00 pm the vinyl window out of a White Jeep was cut. A JVC car radio/ CD Player and a Gerber multi purpose tool were stolen from the vehicle. The suspects were described as a Hispanic male and a Hispanic female. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410) 535-1400.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, ASSAULT: On November 3, 2008, at 12:01 pm, Trooper Donaldson was dispatched to the Huntingtown High School for a reported disorderly student. Two juvenile female students got into a fight. One of the juveniles, a 17 year old female, would not calm down and continued to disrupt school activities. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On November 2, 2008 at 8:15 pm, in the area of Route 4 and Ball Road in St. Leonard, Trooper First Class Bowling stopped a silver Nissan Altima for an inoperative head light. Upon making contact with the operator Bowling detected the odor of Marijuana inside the vehicle. A search revealed a bag of Marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. The 17 year old male juvenile from Lusby was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick barrack for processing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On November 2, 2008 at 12:02 am, on Mattapany Lane in St. Leonard, Trooper First Class Wiersma observed a Beige Nissan Altima parked on on the shoulder facing the wrong direction. Upon making contact with the operator later identified as Daniel Allen Cecil, 19 of St. Leonard, Wiersma detected the odor of Marijuana inside the vehicle. A search revealed a large amount of Marijuana. Cecil was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute. Cecil was processed at the Prince Frederick Barrack and incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.
