MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Oct. 30, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On October 28, 2008 at 5:48 pm, TFC C. Dawson was dispatched to a residence on Thunderbird Drive in Lusby for the report of a stolen vehicle. TFC Dawson's investigation revealed that sometime between September 27th and October 11th a 1995 Saab 900SE Turbo was stolen from the Church of God parking lot located on Hollowing Point Road in Prince Frederick. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410) 535-1400.

BURGLARY: On October 26, 2008, at 4:40 am, Trooper R. Lewis was dispatched to a residence on Aralia Avenue in St. Leonard for a report of a burglary. Trooper Lewis' investigation revealed that around 4:20 am a resident of the home awoke to a noise and went to investigate. The victim found Yardell Delontey Gross, 25, of St. Leonard, in their home. A physical confrontation ensued and the suspect caused a minor injury to the victim's head. Gross then fled the residence. Charges are pending.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On October 27, 2008 at 9:00 am, SGT L. Titus was dispatched to Calvert High School for a reported drug violation. A teacher observed a bag of marijuana fall from a male juvenile's pocket while walking across a classroom. The teacher retrieved the marijuana and was threatened by the student. The student, 17, from Lusby, was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On October 24, 2008, at 7:00 pm, Trooper M. Haut was dispatched to the Triad House in Prince Frederick for a reported malicious destruction of property. Trooper Haut's investigation revealed that two subjects got into an argument and had to be separated. As one of the subjects was exiting the building, he punched the wall causing damage to the drywall. The subject, a 17 year-old male from Prince Frederick, was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On October 23, 2008, at 10:14 pm, Trooper M. Haut was dispatched to the The Tavern in St. Leonard for a reported domestic dispute. Trooper Haut's investigation revealed that Donna Louise Axtell, 44, of St. Leonard, had entered into an argument with her husband while at the establishment. Axtell refused to obey the trooper's orders to stop the argument and continued yelling in the parking lot. Axtell was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. She was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
