PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Oct. 23, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On October 20, 2008 at 11:55 pm Tpr. Parker stopped a vehicle for driving with an inoperable tail light on Route 4 at German Chapel Road in Prince Frederick. During the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed a clear plastic baggie containing marijuana. Dennis Jackson Davis, 22, of Dunkirk was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and was later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
BURGLARY: On October 20, 2008 at 11:55 pm Trooper Lewis responded to a residence on Chaneyville Road in Owings for a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that someone entered the victim's residence and stole a Highpoint .22 caliber handgun with silver and black grips. ASSAULT: On October 15, 2008, at 10:30 pm, Trooper Cavill responded to a residence on Kyler Road in Huntingtown for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that Joel Andre Taylor Jr., 25, of Prince Frederick, and Shakaye Rochelle Creek, 20, of Dunkirk were involved in an argument which then led to a fight. Both Taylor and Creek were placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and were later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. Taylor was also served with an outstanding warrant.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On October 16, 2008 at 8:00 am, Sergeant Titus responded to Calvert Middle School in Prince Frederick for a reported disturbance in the cafeteria. Upon arrival, Sgt. Titus learned that two juveniles had gotten into a fight and had to be physically separated by the school officials. Both juveniles were placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.
ASSAULT: On October 20, 2008 at 7:00 pm, Trooper Haut and Trooper First Class Bowling were dispatched to the Prince Frederick WAWA for a reported assault. The investigation revealed that Latonya Denise Smith, 24, of Prince Frederick and Marvin Charles Dickerson Jr., 24, of Prince Frederick, had gotten into an argument that resulted in a fight. Both Smith and Dickerson were placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and were later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
