Special Rates and Free Admission for Children on Friday, September 26
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Sept. 25, 2008)—Despite the prediction of soggy weather, Youth Day at the Calvert County Fair is still scheduled for Friday, September 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Anyone under 18 years of age will be admitted free of charge.
Calvert County Public Schools are closed on Friday to allow students to take advantage of the fair.
Officials say the fair schedule may need to be modified depending upon weather conditions, however the fairgrounds will be open as scheduled. Rain is currently expected as a tropical storm system moves up the east coast.
