PNC Offering $10,000 Reward for Arrest of Kidnappers, Robbers


CALIFORNIA, Md. (Sept. 25, 2008)—PNC Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects in Wednesday's kidnapping and subsequent bank robbery, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.

A joint investigation involving the Calvert Investigative Team, the St. Mary's Bureau of Criminal Investigations, the Maryland State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations is underway. Detectives worked through the night interviewing witnesses, gathering information, and collecting evidence, according to a statement released today by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.

CORRECTION: On Wednesday we reported that the victim's children were ages 1 year and 5 years. Today, the Calvert County Sheriff's Office advised that the ages were 18 months and 5 years.
