MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 11, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DUI, MARIJUANA: On Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:31 am, Cindy Smith, 42, of Scotland was arrested by Tpr. E. Page for DUI and possession of marijuana. Ms. Smith was operating a green Mercury Mountaineer on Route 235 at Trapp Road in Scotland when she was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. Upon contact with Ms. Smith, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from her breath. She was subsequently arrested for DUI. A search incident to the arrest revealed Ms. Smith was in possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. Ms. Smith was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.

THEFT, DOP: On Monday, September 8, 2008 at 7:40 am, Tpr. J. Pilkerton responded to the reported theft and malicious destruction of property in the 26000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 47, of California who advised unknown suspect(s) damaged the Pepsi machine and stole approximately $100.00 from the machine. Estimated damage to the Pepsi machine is $300.00. The investigation continues.

TRESPASSING: On Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 5:08 pm, TFC R. Rezza was dispatched to the reported Trespassing complaint in the 25000 block of Friendship School Road in Mechanicsville. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male victim, 29, of Mechanicsville. The victim advised there were two females on the property who were refusing to leave. While on the property, both females assaulted the victim. In addition to the assault they also damaged the hood of victim's Ford truck and cracking the windshield on the victim's Hyundai Elantra and denting the left front fender and hood. A broadcast was made and the suspects, Jessica Grenier Donaldson, 19, of Port Tobacco and Tina Renee Donaldson, 40, of Indian Head were later stopped driving a red Honda Accord on Route 235 in Hollywood. Both suspects were positively identified by the victim and were taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where they were charged with 2nd Degree Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property over $500, Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct and detained pending a bond review.

BURGLARY, THEFT: On Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 6:10 pm, TFC R. Rezza responded to the 43000 block of Megan Lane in Leonardtown for the reported burglary and theft over $500.00. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 24, of Leonardtown. She advised between the hours of 7:45 am and 2:30 pm unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole a Sony Playstation console, 15 assorted games and controllers with video cables. The unknown suspect(s) are believed to have fled the area in an unknown red 4 door car. The investigation is continuing.

WARRANT ARREST: On Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 9:47 am, Dorothy Anne Vallandingham, 35, operating as "AAA Field Services" of Budds Creek Road in Leonardtown was arrested by Tpr. M. Koock on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-13604) issued by the District Court in Charles County on August 20, 2008. The original charge was fraud act as a contractor without a license and failing to perform a contract. Ms. Vallandingham was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 12:25 pm, Christopher Allen Proctor, 24, of Leonardtown was arrested by Tpr. J. Gibson on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13546) for failing to appear in District Court in Leonardtown on August 5, 2008. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Mr. Proctor was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
