St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 15, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On August 15, 2008 at 1:35 a.m. Deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the parking lot of Big Dogs Paradise in Mechanicsville. While investigating the disturbance Kristine Kirby, age 32, of Waldorf was observed shouting profanities and acting in a disorderly manner. After giving Kirby several warnings to discontinue her actions she continued and was subsequently placed under arrest by Dep. J. Graves. Kirby was charged with disorderly conduct, fail to obey the lawful order of a police officer and obstructing/hindering an investigation. Kirby was transported to the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

DISORDERLY INTOXICATION: On August 15, 2008 at 7:12 p.m. Sdfc. C. Safford responded to the parking lot of the Wildwood Center for the report of a disorderly subject throwing clothing at vehicles. Investigation revealed Joseph L. Taylor, age 61, of no fixed address, was observed to be extremely intoxicated and throwing clothing at a passing vehicle. Taylor was arrested and transported to the Detention Center where he is pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
