MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 14, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On Monday, August 11, 2008 at 6:56 pm, TFC K. Lashley responded to the Wolfe Drive in Mechanicsville for the reported Assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 40, of Mechanicsville who advised two juvenile boys ages 11 and 13 were walking on Wolfe Drive at Burton Road in Mechanicsville when they observed two other juvenile males with BB guns and were shot at. The complainant nor the victims could identify the unknown white male juveniles other than they were wearing black shorts and "T" shirts and had BB gun pistols. The parents of the two victims were contacted and advised of the incident and the investigation continues.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 2:23 am, Scott MacGregor Paul, 21, of Dameron was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Paul was operating a green Chevrolet Malibu on Route 237 in Great Mills when he was stopped for speeding. A routine wanted check revealed Mr. Paul was wanted through the Calvert County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Paul was taken into custody and a search incident revealed Mr. Paul was in possession of Marijuana. Mr. Paul was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, August 11, 2008 at 5:23 am, Joseph Norman Combs, 50, of Callaway was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13549) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on August 5, 2008. The original charge was Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Combs was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond hearing.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, August 11, 2008 at 6:30 pm, Jeremy Michael Carr, 21, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC J. Fleetwood on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13552) for Failing to Pay Deferred Payment of $557.50 by May 9, 2008. Mr. Carr was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, August 11, 2008 at 10:45 pm, Andrew Alan Anderson, 35, of Great Mills was arrested by Tpr. M. Adams on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13540) for Failing to Appear in District Court on July 24, 2008. The original charge was Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
