St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 1, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Between the evening hours of 07/21/08 and the morning hours of 07/22/08, unknown person(s) broke into the garage of a residence located on Bushwood Road in Bushwood and damaged the victim's vehicle by pouring assorted chemicals onto the vehicle. Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crime Solvers. The caller does have to leave his/her name. If the information leads to the arrest and conviction, the caller may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. The Crime Solvers number is 301-475-3333.

DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE: Vice narcotics detectives conducted an investigation involving Charlesea "Krystal" Bush, age 24, formerly of Lexington Park, and her role in the distribution of cocaine in St. Mary's County. At the conclusion of the investigation, suspect Bush was indicted by the St. Mary's County Grand Jury and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Bush fled the area and information was received that she was in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Detectives contacted local law enforcement officers in Plymouth who began to assist in the case. These efforts led to the capture of Bush. Detectives will now work with investigators from the St. Mary's County State's Attorney's Office in having her extradited back to Maryland.
