MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (July 24, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On 7/16/08 at 1755 hours, Tpr. Saucerman was dispatched to Atlas Carpet Center at 10352 Southern Maryland Blvd., Dunkirk, located in the Dunkirk Market Place shopping center for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed that between the hours of 0900 on 07/16/08 and 1750 on 07/16/08, an unknown suspect broke the front passenger window out of a green Honda CRV and removed a Garman GPS Navigation System. Anyone with information is asked to contact Tpr. Saucerman at 410-535-1400.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On 07/18/08, at 1610 hours, in the area of Stinnett Road and Emanuel Church Road, Huntingtown, Cpl. Linger stopped a gray Toyota Tacoma for a seatbelt violation. Upon contacting the driver, Quintin Conway, 49, of Huntingtown, Cpl. Linger detected the strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle and driver revealed marijuana and cocaine. Conway was placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.

THEFT: On 07/18/2008 at 1950 hours TFC Bowling was dispatched to Bridge Carry Out, 6654 Hallowing Point Road, Prince Frederick, for the report of a motor vehicle theft. Investigation revealed that between 1200 and 1900 hours on 07/18/08 unknown suspect(s) stole a 1994 White Nissan Pathfinder, a 1989 gray-blue Ford pickup truck and an olive green modified horse trailer loaded with the following items: One wood planer; Miscellaneous automobile parts; Four 18" Navigator tires with rims; Sixteen school bus seats; Three vehicle engine blocks; One hose press machine; One valve tumbler machine; One jet dry steam cleaning machine; and one "Norman Broche" metal milling machine. ILLEGAL DRUGS: On 07/19/08 at 0910 hours, Tpr. Donaldson was dispatched to 12558 Santa Rosa Rd, Lusby, for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a black male and a white female who had apparently been arguing. When officers requested the couple's identification the male, later identified as Kevil Gregory, 27, of Lusby, reached into his pocket to retrieve his license and dropped a bag of marijuana on the ground. Gregory was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 07/20/08 at 0851 hours, Tpr. Donaldson responded to 11304 Sitting Bull Trail, Lusby, for the report of destruction of property. Investigation revealed that between the hours of 2200 on 07/19/08 and 0800 on 07/20/08, unknown suspect(s) damaged the cluster mailbox located on Sitting Bull Trail and stole out outgoing mail.
