Motorcycle Mishap In Huntingtown Sends One To Hospital


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 24, 2008)—A motorcycle accident last Friday sent the passenger, Kimberly Sue King, age 46 of Chesapeake Beach, to the Prince Georges County Shock Trauma Center via Trooper 7 helicopter with non-incapacitating injuries. The driver, Michael Allen King, age 44, also of Chesapeake Beach, was not injured.

The Calvert County Sheriff's Office reported that the accident happened on Stinnett Road near Symphony Lane in Huntingtown on June 20 at 7:45 p.m. Police say the bike hit a patch of gravel and lost control. The motorcycle fell on its side and then slid across the roadway, causing injury to the passenger.

Dep. Roscoe Kreps responded to the accident.
