LA PLATA, Md. (June 19, 2008) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
PAROLE VIOLATION, ILLEGAL DRUGS: On June 18, 2008 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Trooper W. Posey was on routine patrol traveling westbound MD Route 228, east of Greenwood Drive when he stopped Cameron Marcel Fletcher, age 26 of Waldorf, for a traffic violation. A check through MILES/NCIC indicated Fletcher was wanted for a parole violation. Fletcher was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana. Fletcher was charged with possession of a control dangerous substance.
FUGITIVE ARREST: On June 19, 2008, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Corporal T. Quade was on routine patrol northbound U.S. Route 301 south of Sub Station Road when he stopped Kealoha Rashad Kimble, age 22 of Oxon Hill, for a traffic violation. A check through MVA/MILES/NCIC indicated Kimble was wanted by the Alexandria Virginia Police Department for larceny under $200. Kimble was arrested and served an arrest warrant for fugitive.
