LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 6, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 12:35 am, Darnell Anthony Holley, 22, of Park Hall was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Holley was a passenger in a black Dodge when they were stopped on south bound Route 235 at Pegg Road in Lexington Park for an equipment violation. During the course of the traffic stop, Tpr. Pilkerton made contact with the female driver and detected a distinct odor of burnt Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Mr. Holley was found to be in possession of Marijuana and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, June 2, 2008 at 6:30 am, Andre Denell Butler, Jr., 20, of Lusby was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13414) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on May 23, 2008. The original charge was Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Butler was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 8:15 am, James Andre Whitney, 37, of Lusby was arrested by TFC M. Moore on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13441) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Calvert County on June 2, 2008. The original charge was Insufficient Funds Under $500.00. Mr. Whitney was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
