Oakville Accident Claims Hollywood Woman


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 4, 2008)—A Hollywood woman was killed as the result of injuries received in a two car collision on Tuesday around 9:11 a.m. near Oakville. After the accident, Linda Ann Riddle, age 33, was flown to Prince George's Hospital by Maryland State Police Trooper 7 helicopter where she passed away.

Police say Riddle's Ford Focus was on Schoolhouse Road crossing the north bound lanes of Route 235. Michael Eugene Self, age 51, of Mechanicsville, was operating a Dodge Ram 3500 when he collided with the Ford.

Trooper J. Hardesty of the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack, responded to the accident.
