MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 2, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

VANDALISM: On Monday, May 26, 2008 at 11:20 am, Tpr. C. Evans responded to the 18400 block of Point Lookout Road in Park Hall for the Malicious Destruction of Property. Upon arrival contact was made with the complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) punctured the two left side tires on his 1990 Ford van sometime between 11:30 pm, May 24, 2008 to 9:30 am, May 25, 2008. Neighborhood checks were made with negative results and the investigation continues.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, May 26, 2008 at 12:36 pm, Eddie Carter, III, 36, of Park Hall, was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on a Fugitive Warrant (T3-13418). Contact was made with Mr. Carter at his residence in Park Hall during a routine investigation. A routine NCIC check was made which revealed Mr. Carter had several outstanding warrants; two through the State Police in Leonardtown and one through St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Additionally, Mr. Carter was wanted by the Manassas City PD on Robbery charges and Failing to Appear for Driving While Suspended. The two outstanding Bench Warrants (T3-12589) and (T3-12590) were both for Failing to Appear in District Court on December 21, 2006. The original charges were for Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Carter was incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending extradition to Virginia on the Robbery and Driving While Suspended charges.

SHOPLIFTING: On Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 1:40 pm, Tpr. W. Jefferson responded to the Shoppers Food Warehouse in the San Souci Plaza in California for the reported shoplifting complaint with two juveniles in custody. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised he had two male juveniles in custody for Theft. He further advised both juveniles admitted to him stealing several items from the store as they were leaving. Both juveniles were charged with Theft under $100.00 and released to their parents pending further action by Juvenile Services.

WARRANT ARREST, ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 4:30 pm, Kimberlee Faye Ledsome, 50, of Avenue was arrested by TFC R. Rezza for possession of Cocaine. TFC R. Rezza was dispatched to the Wildewood Shopping Center to check the welfare on a white female. Contact was made with Ms. Ledsome and a routine check through NCIC revealed she had two outstanding warrants through the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. She was taken into custody. A search incident to the arrest revealed Ms. Ledsome was in possession of a small zip lock baggie of Cocaine. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged accordingly.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 12:34 pm, Patrick Wayne Brooks, 20, and William Lee Kravats, 21, both of Mechanicsville were arrested by Tpr. J. Gibson for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Brooks was operating a blue Ford F-150 when he was stopped for an equipment violation on Route 246 at Suburban Drive in Lexington Park. Tpr. J. Gibson made contact with Mr. Brooks and detected a faint odor of burnt Marijuana in the vehicle. A small baggie of Marijuana was found in the vehicle. Both Mr. Brooks and Mr. Kravats were taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where they were detained pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Friday, May 30, 2008 at 8:30 pm, Mathew Tokuji Mikesell, 29, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana and possession of a CDS smoking device. Mr. Mikesell was at a residence in the 45000 block of Sayre Drive in California when a Search and Seizure Warrant was executed. A K9 scan of his tan Lexus revealed a positive alert of CDS in the vehicle. A search revealed a CDS smoking device and a small baggie of Marijuana in the vehicle. Mr. Mikesell was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 10:34 am, Joseph Percell Pinkney, 20, of Great Mills was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for DWI/DUI and Driving on Suspended License. Mr. Pinkney was observed not being restrained by a seatbelt while operating a red Honda on Route 5 in Great Mills. Tpr. Pilkerton attempted to stop Mr. Pinkney at Route 5 and Flat Iron Road when Mr. Pinkney fled attempting to elude. Tpr. Pilkerton followed Mr. Pinkney approximately 1 ½ miles down Flat Iron Road until he turned onto Guenther Drive. Mr. Pinkney stopped at a private drive and was detained for Fleeing and Eluding. A routine check through NCIC and MVA revealed Mr. Pinkney had an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13438) for Violation of Probation which was issued by the District Court on May 29, 2008. The original charge was for DUI. His driving privileges were also suspended. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 6:10 pm, Dionisia Malong Futoran, 43, of Great Mills was arrested by TFC M. Moore on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13410) for Failing to Appear in District Court on May 20, 2008. The original charge was for DWI/DUI. Ms. Futoran was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 1:14 am, Fredy H. Eatmon, III, 43, of Dameron was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13399) for Failing to pay a Deferred Payment of $557.50 from a prior court appearance on December 31, 2007. Mr. Eatmon was detained at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 3:18 am, Natasha Maureen Kelly, 22, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13430) for Violation of Probation. The original charge was possession of CDS not Marijauna. Ms. Kelly was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 7:05 pm, John Allen Combs, Sr., 35, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. D. Brill on an outstanding Circuit Court Warrant (T3-13426) for Failing to Appear in Circuit Court on May 19, 2008 The original charge was for Speeding. Mr. Combs was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending the service of a 2nd Circuit Court Warrant by Tpr C. Evans. The original charge for the 2nd warrant was for Driving on a Suspended License.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 3:13 am, Alvin Marcello White, 28, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. G. Thompson on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-12819) for Failing to Appear in District Court on April 18, 2007. The original charge was Driving While Suspended. Mr. White was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
