Civista Foundation Exec Receives Scholarship


LA PLATA, Md. (May 26, 2008)—Susan M. Vogel, executive director of the Civista Health Foundation, was recently awarded a full scholarship to attend the 16th Annual Planned Giving Days conference sponsored by the National Capital Gift Planning Council (NCGPC).

The two-day conference was held May 22-23 and was the premier planned giving educational and networking opportunity in the Mid-Atlantic region for planned giving officers, fundraising professionals, and legal and financial professionals.

Four scholarships were awarded and Vogel received the Potter Scholarship, named for the late Jim Potter, an expert in the field of planned giving and recipient of NCGPC's Distinguished Service Award in 1999.
