PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (May 06, 2008) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office on Monday released the following incident and arrest reports.
STOLEN VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) stole a blue 1999 Honda Civic 2 door vehicle from in front of a home in the 2500 block of Hallowing Point Road in Prince Frederick overnight between April 28 and 29. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Jason Lord at 410-535-2800.
DOP: Two juveniles, a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old brother and sister from Chesapeake Beach broke down a portion of a fence surrounding the Windward Key Apartments Complex at 27th Street and C Street in Chesapeake Beach. The damage, estimated at $100, happened on April 30 at 9:06 p.m. They were each charged with destruction of property on a youth report and released to their mother.
ILLEGAL DRUGS: Dep. Brianne Gray observed a vehicle parked behind the Fox Run Shopping Center in Prince Frederick on May 1 at 6:32 p.m. The lone passenger of the vehicle, a 16-year-old female of Prince Frederick, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. She was charged on a youth report with possession of marijuana and released to a parent.
THEFT: Dep. Jeff Elliott responded to the Boys and Girls Club building at 4th Street and Dayton Ave in North Beach on May 1st for a theft report. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) stole two sets of 3' x 12' windows from the building which is currently under construction. The windows are valued at $1000. ILLEGAL DRUGS: After conducting a routine traffic stop on a vehicle near the Md. Rt. 2/4 split in Huntingtown on May 1 at 1:10 a.m., Dep. Jason Livingston found that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of suspected crack cocaine. He arrested Antonio D. Booth, 26 of Prince Frederick, and charged him with possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a crack pipe and small piece of steel wool pad (used as a filter in the pipe).
THEFT: Twenty-five to thirty flower baskets were stolen from the Loch Less Farms business on Pushaw Station Road in Owings between May 1 and 2nd. The flower baskets are valued at $300. DFC Michael Naecker is investigating.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On May 3 at 4:46 p.m. a lookout was broadcast for a vehicle whose driver had pumped $26 worth of gasoline at the Fastop in Solomons and failed to pay. It was discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen from Prince George's County. The vehicle was spotted in the area of St. Leonard Road and Parran Road and then observed turning onto a private drive on Md. Rt. 4 in St. Leonard. Dep. Robert Traas made contact with the driver, later identified as Jason A. Ransome, 27 of Upper Marlboro. The lone passenger in the vehicle was identified as Tywania N. Ross, 21 of Laurel. Ransome and Ross were both arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and Ransome was additionally charged with theft of gas from the Fastop.
