St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 22, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER: On April 18 at 1:57 P.M. Deputy M. Campbell responded to a residence in Mechanicsville for the report of a violation of a protective order. Investigation revealed Bradley V. Buckler, age 29, of Great Mill's telephoned the victim several times in an harassing manner in violation of a protective order issued by the District Court. Contact was made with Mr. Buckler who was placed under arrest without incident. Buckler was incarcerated in the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.

TRESPASSING: On April 18 Sdfc. Robert Russell and Deputy M. Licausi responded to the area of St. George's Island for the report of trespassing. Investigation revealed Richard L. Taylor, age 18, of Valley Lee, and Alissa M Bishop, age 18, of Valley Lee, entered upon the posted private property of the victim without permission. Both were arrested, charged with trespassing on posted private property, and transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
