St. Mary's County BCI Police Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 3, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) recently released the following incident and arrest reports. BCI is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown, Maryland.

BURGLARY: On April 1, BCI detectives arrested Daniel F. Sell, 38, of Lexington Park, and charged him with 5 counts of burglary to motor vehicle and 7 counts of theft. Sell's arrest came as a result of investigations into thefts from vehicles which had occurred during February and March in California, Lexington Park, and Callaway. Sell was incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center.

SEXUAL ABUSE OF MINOR: On April 2, BCI detectives arrested David Emile Guillemette, 54, of Great Mills, and charged him with the sexual abuse of a minor, 3rd degree sex offense and 2nd degree assault. The arrest was a result of an investigation into an incident with a 15-year-old female visitor at Guillemette's home that occurred on January 1, 2008. Guillemette, who is a substitute teacher in St. Mary's County, was incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
