MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 3, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On Monday, March 31, 2008 at 7:45 pm, Tpr. G. Thompson responded to the 41000 block of Norris Circle in Leonardtown for the reported Theft from Motor Vehicle. Contact with the male complainant advised unknown subjects stole a prescription bottle with medications, a wallet and cellphone from his blue Chevrolet Blazer. Total value of the items stolen is $265.00. The investigation continues.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 7:53 am, Tpr. J. Gibson responded to the 46000 block of Flower Drive in Lexington Park for the Malicious Destruction of Property to Motor Vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown subject(s) slashed three tires on her gold Oldsmobile Cutlass. Estimated loss is $240.00 and the investigation continues.

ASSAULT: On Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 4:50 pm, Antwon Delante Butler, 18, of Mechanicsville was arrested for Domestic Assault. Tpr. M. Pitcher responded to a reported disturbance in the 36000 Asher Road in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the female victim who advised she was assaulted by Mr. Butler, 18, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Butler was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

BURGLARY: On Wednesday, April 2, 2008 between 2:55 am and 3:15 am, Tpr. W. Jefferson responded to Carroll's Equipment on Three Notch Road in Dameron for a reported Burglary. A 2004 John Deere lawn tractor, model GX345 with a 48" mower deck was stolen. A white Ford panel van was observed leaving the scene. Total loss is $5,033.00 and the investigation continues.

VEHICLE TAG THEFT: On Wednesday, April 2, 2008 a female complainant responded to the Leonardtown Barrack to report unknown suspect(s) removed the rear Maryland tag from her green Honda Accord. The vehicle was parked at the apartment complex in the 46000 block of Valley Court in Lexington Park. The investigation continues.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 1:02 am, Justin Robert Quade, 19, of Chaptico was arrested by Tpr. N. Gresko on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-13342) issued by the District Court in Garrett County on February 12, 2008. The original charge was Theft under $500.00. Mr. Quade was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
