MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 27, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Monday, March 24, 2008 at 6:36 pm, Bryan A. Knott, 18, of Great Mills was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Knott was operating a silver Pontiac Grand Am on Route 5 in Leonardtown when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Knott was found to be in possession of marijuana and a partially burnt marijuana cigarette. Mr. Knott was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Monday, March 24, 2008 at 11:14 pm, Jamie L. Jenkins, 20, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana. Ms. Jenkins was operating a tan Chevrolet Blazer on Route 5 in Leonardtown when she was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. During the course of the traffic stop, Ms. Jenkins was found to be in possession of a CDS smoking device with burnt Marijuana and prescription medication not prescribed to her. She was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 4:46 pm, Jeffrey Brandon Junge, 19, of Hollywood was arrested by Tpr. N. Gresko for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Junge was operating a gold Plymouth Van when he was stopped because the passenger was not restrained by his seatbelt. During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with the driver, Mr. Junge and a strong odor of burnt Marijuana was emanating from inside the vehicle. Mr. Junge was found to be in possession of a baggie of Marijuana and his driving privileges are suspended. He was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 12:45 am, Orbin Hans Carter, 23, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans for Disorderly Conduct and Failing to Obey a Lawful Order. Mr. Carter was a passenger in a Black Ford Mustang when the vehicle was stopped at Route 5 and Bay Ridge Drive in Great Mills for a traffic violation. As contact was being made with the driver, a strong odor of burnt Marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. Mr. Carter, a passenger in the vehicle was asked to exit the vehicle when he became disorderly and failed to obey lawful orders. Mr. Carter was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, March 22, 2008 at 6:52 pm, Gino Martin Warren, 50, of Hollywood was arrested by Tpr. D. Brill on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13326) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on March 13, 2008. The original charge on the warrant was for Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Warren was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, March 24, 2008 at 11:55 pm, Christine Danielle Bolden, 23, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13322) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on March 14, 2008. The original charge was Driving on a Revoked License. Ms. Bolden was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.
