St. Mary's County BCI Police Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 21, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) recently released the following incident and arrest reports. BCI is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown, Maryland.

ROBBERY OF PIZZA DELIVERYMAN: On March 19 at approximately 9:30 pm., a Domino's Pizza delivery man was on a delivery in the Spring Valley Apartment area of Lexington Park when he was confronted by two males, one of which pointed a shotgun at him and demanded money. The victim and suspects fled the area on foot after the suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of money. Pursuant to a St. Mary's County BCI investigation, on March 20 detectives arrested Marquis Anthony Robinson, 18, of Mechanicsville, and charged him with armed robbery. He was incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center.

BCI detectives are currently attempting to locate the second suspect, Michael Anthony McCoy Jr., black male, 6'01", 150 lbs., 17, from Lexington Park. Mccoy should be considered armed and dangerous. ILLEGAL DRUGS/HANDGUN: Patrol Deputy Douglas Harris located and arrested Gary Nathaniel Thomas, a/k/a "Pudge," on an outstanding Grand Jury indictment. The indictment was obtained by detectives in the Vice Narcotics Division as a result of a search and seizure warrant that was executed on a California, Maryland home. Thomas, 24, of Lexington Park, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and illegal possession of a handgun. He is currently being held without Bond.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Amanda Lynn Grumbine, 24, of Lexington Park, was charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a search and seizure warrant that was executed on a Lexington Park home. The charges were obtained through the District Court by Vice Narcotics detectives. She is currently released pending a preliminary hearing date in the District Court.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Deputy James Molitor located and arrested Kevin Wayne Riddick, 36, of Lexington Park, on an open Grand Jury indictment. The indictment was obtained by detectives from the Vice Narcotics Division and charge Riddick with several counts to include possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. Stolen property was also located in the home. He is being held with "No Bond" pending an arraignment in the Circuit Court.

BURGLARY, THEFT, DOP: On March 19, St. Mary's BCI detectives arrested Daniel F. Sell, 28, from Lexington Park, and charged him with burglary, theft, malicious destruction of property, and possession of burglar's tools. Detectives also arrested his wife Connie L. Sell, 29, also from Lexington Park, and charged her with theft and being an accessory after the fact to burglary. The arrests were a result of an in investigation into a March 14 daytime burglary of a residence on Sandy Bottom Road in Hollywood.
