St. Mary's County BCI Police Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 10, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) recently released the following incident and arrest reports. BCI is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown, Maryland.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Narcotics Detectives were assisted by Patrol Deputies in the apprehension of Gregory Joseph Ross, 20, of Hollywood, Md. Ross was wanted for possession of marijuana for his involvement in a search and seizure warrant executed on a Lexington Park home last month. Vice narcotics detectives applied for the warrant after Ross was found to be in possession of marijuana and a related smoking device.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Matthew Lowell Allen, 34, of Lexington Park, was served a St. Mary's County Grand Jury Indictment obtained by vice narcotics detectives for marijuana grow operation. Allen is a co-defendant for his role in the manufacturing operation. He is incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center on a no bond status.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Timothy Emanuel Greenwell, 38, of Lexington Park, was charged for possession of marijuana as a result of a narcotics search and seizure warrant that was executed on a Lexington Park residence. He is awaiting a Preliminary Hearing in the District Court.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: James Wesley Hughes Jr., 19, of Callaway, was charged with possession of marijuana when a narcotics search and seizure warrant was served on his Callaway residence. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing in the District Court.
