St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 11, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED: On February 9 just after 3:00 a.m., John Thomas Summers, 18, of Mechanicsville walked into the Mechanicsville 7-Eleven with a 30/30 Marlin rifle and demanded money from a clerk. After grabbing under $200.00 in cash, suspect Summers fled the store and got into a red Honda. An alert witness observed the incident and provided vital information to Sheriff Deputies responding to the area. The suspect's vehicle was spotted by Deputy Doug Harris in the area of Laurel Grove and a felony stop was conducted by Deputy Harris and Maryland State Police Trooper Crystal Shughart. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. BCI detectives responded and conducted follow up investigation. The suspect was charged with Armed Robbery and Theft Under $500. Additional charges are pending.

BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR 2ND TIME: On February 9 at 8:46 p.m., while returning home a citizen observed a vehicle backing out of his driveway in Mechanicsville. When the driver of the suspicious vehicle saw the citizen returning home he sped off, stuck a fence and ended up in a ditch, disabling the vehicle. The citizen returned home to find their residence had been burglarized and several items had been stolen. He returned to the scene of the accident and reported the incident to SDFC Wayne Milam who had detained the suspect, Kenneth Ray Foy, 46, of Mechanicsville on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence. Investigation revealed items stolen from the victim's residence were located in the suspect's vehicle. Foy was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Burglary 1st Degree, Theft Over $500.00, Theft Under $500.00 (2 counts) and Malicious Destruction of Property. NOTE: On December 15, 2007 Foy was arrested after fleeing the scene of a residential burglary in the area of Old Village Road Mechanicsville, Maryland.

Adrian Lynn Allen, 26, of Lexington Park, arrested February 10, 2008 by Deputy James Stone.

Eduardo Escoto Munoz, 26, of Lexington Park, arrested February 10, 2008 by Deputy Michael Boyer.
