Chesapeake Beach Crash Sends Two to Hospital


CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. (Feb. 11, 2008)—An accident early Friday morning in Chesapeake Beach sent two area residents to Prince George's County Hospital.

According to police in Calvert County, around 2:30 a.m. a 2002 Ford Mustang, being driven by Theresa M. Valentine, 46, of Chesapeake Beach, was traveling westbound on Old Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach when the vehicle left the roadway near E Street and struck two trees before coming to a final rest. The passenger, James Colton, 35, of Rosehaven, was ejected from the vehicle.

Both occupants were transported to Prince George's Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the Calvert County Crash Reconstruction Team.
