MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 31, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Monday, January 28 at 6:22 pm, Christopher Lee Goldsborough, 21, of Leonardtown, was arrested by TFC R. Rezza for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Goldsborough was operating a gold Saturn XL on McIntosh Road in Hollywood when he was stopped for an equipment violation. During the course of the traffic stop a routine MVA check revealed the registration plates belonged to another vehicle and Mr. Goldsborough driver's license was expired. Ownership of the vehicle could not be determined and the vehicle was stored for safekeeping. During the inventory of the vehicle two electronic digital scales and a bag of marijuana was recovered from the trunk. Mr. Goldsborough was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Tuesday, January 29 at 12:04 am, Blakeney Davis Burgess, 24, of Leonardtown, was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Burgess was operating a blue Chevrolet S-10 on Route 5 in Park Hall when he was stopped for failing to drive in a single lane. During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with Mr. Burgess and an odor of burnt Marijuana and alcohol were emitting from his breath, person and vehicle. Mr. Goldsborough was found to be in possession of Marijuana and was charged accordingly. Mr. Goldsborough performed the field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was not charged with DUI. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Tuesday, January 29 at 2:36 pm, Cheryl Ann Adams, 47, of Drayden, was arrested by TFC L. Nims for possession of Cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Ms. Adams was walking northbound Route 5, north of Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown. A 911 broadcast was made to check her welfare. Contact was made with Ms. Adams and TFC Nims observed in plain view two CDS smoking devices protruding from her pants pocket. Ms. Adams was taken into custody. A routine check through NCIC revealed Ms. Adams also had two outstanding warrants through the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department. Ms. Adams was transported and charged for the possession of Cocaine and possession of CDS smoking devices. She was detained pending a bond review and service of the two warrants.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, January 28, 2008 at 9:00 pm, Timothy Brian Abell Grube, 19, of Piney Point, was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-13259) for distributing obscene material. Mr. Grube was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 12:10 pm, Fredy Eatmon, III, 42, of Dameron was arrested by TFC L. Nims on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13259) for failing to appear in District Court in Leonardtown on January 24, 2008. The original charge was Malicious Destruction of Property over $500.00, Disorderly Conduct and Drinking in Public. Mr. Eatmon was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 8:30 pm, Mary Lee Little, 43, of Lexington Park was served an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13270) for Violation of Probation. The original charge was driving while impaired by controlled dangerous substance. TFC R. Rezza served the warrant at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where Ms. Little was incarcerated on unrelated charges.
