Asbestos Actions Against Schools Leap, As EPA, State Tighten Enforcement, Dec. 20, 2007] incorrectly listed the construction date before which schools are required to have asbestos plans. The story should have said that, "All schools containing asbestos—and any school built before October 1988—are required to have asbestos management plans outlining where the material is and what steps are being taken to contain it."
