Calvert Sheriff Receives $5,000 Grant from State Farm Insurance

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 20, 2007)—Yesterday, State Farm Insurance agent Wayne Shoemaker and staff member Emily Presa presented a check to Calvert County Sheriff Mike Evans for $5,000. The check is part of a grant that the Sheriff's Office had applied to State Farm Insurance for child safety programs.

The money will assist the Sheriff's Office Bike Patrol Team in its' continuing effort to present Bike Rodeos to the youth of Calvert County.
