Prince Frederick Safeway Scene of Failed Robbery


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 19, 007)—The Prince Frederick Safeway supermarket was the scene of a botched armed robbery attempt on Monday. Police say a white male, approximately 18-20 years old, approached a cashier at a register lane and demanded money at knife point. The cashier advised that they were unable to open the register and the suspect fled on foot from the establishment.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 18-20 years of age, thin build, approximately 6'2" - 6'4" with light brown/dirty blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, and light colored blue jeans.
