MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Dec. 18, 2007) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT ARREST, ILLEGAL DRUGS: On December 14, 2007 at 4:20 am, TFC R. Rezza responded to the 23000 block of Dahlia Circle in California in an attempt to serve an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13179) on Joshua Daniel Wawrzyniak, 22, of California, for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on November 30, 2007. The original charges were speeding and driving without a license. Mr. Wawrzyniah was taken into custody for the warrant. Mr. Wawrzyniak was also found to be in possession of a small baggie of marijuana. Mr. Wawrzyniak was charged accordingly and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

THEFT: On Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 10:48 am, TFC E. Evans responded to a reported theft of an Ipod from the Best Buy store, 45235 Worth Avenue in California. Contact was made with the complainant, who advised an unknown suspect stole an Apple Ipod valued at $350.00 The Ipod was stolen between December 14-15, 2007. The investigation continues.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, December 10, 2007 at 9:25 am, Devon Rene Erb, 23, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC Quade after turning herself in at the Leonardtown Barracks. She was taken into custody on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-12702) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on February 14, 2007. The original charge was for failure of driver to render assistance at a personal injury accident and not rendering her license. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 2:20 pm, Adam James Mantz, 26, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC K. Lashley on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-13192) issued by the District Court in Leonardtown on December 4, 2007. The original charges were disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Mr. Mantz was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 4:10 am, Joseph Allen Milborn, 19, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13166) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on November 9, 2007. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Mr. Milborn was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:45 pm, Ingrid Cassandra Young, 36, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC E. Evans on an outstanding District Court Arrest Warrant (T3-13193) for driving on a suspended and revoked license. Ms. Young was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond hearing.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, December 14, 2007 at 5:30 pm, Steven Wesley Gingery, 48, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC K. Lashley on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13033) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on September 11, 2007. The original charge was DWI/DUI. Mr. Gingery was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 3:30 am, Matthew Hurry Scott, 21, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC R. Rezza on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13206) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on December 7, 2007. The original charges were DWI/DUI. Mr. Scott was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
