MSP Reports for Charles County


LA PLATA, Md. (Dec. 13, 2007) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

STOLEN PLATES: On December 7, at approximately 1730 hours, TFC S. Murphy was on routine patrol southbound St. Charles Parkway at Northgate Place, when he observed a a gold Dodge Intrepid without a front registration plate. TFC Murphy activated his emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Prior to approaching the vehicle, TFC Murphy was informed that the rear registration plate was reported stolen through the Prince George’s County Police Department. Upon contact with the driver, TFC Murphy informed the driver, Silverio Molina Fabian, 26, of Waldorf, of the violation. Fabian informed TFC Murphy he did not have any kind of driver’s license or privilege. At that time TFC Murphy was informed that the registration plate was confirmed stolen through the Prince George’s County Police Department. Fabian was then placed under arrest and transported to the Charles County Detention Center for processing. Fabian was charged with Theft Under $100, and other numerous traffic charges.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On December 10, at approximately 2216 hours, the Maryland State Police along with assistance of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office was serving a warrant on Lois Ann Doyle, 41, of Mechanicsville, for failure to appear. Once Doyle was apprehended, a search of her belongings revealed multiple crack cocaine smoking devices, 3 clear blue plastic baggies containing cocaine, brillo pads with burnt cocaine residue, tweezers with cocaine residue, clear plastic straw containing cocaine, metal device used to push the cocaine through the smoking device containing cocaine and tin foil also containing white powder cocaine residue. Doyle was transported to the La Plata Barrack where she was initially processed. She was then transported to the Charles County Detention Center where she awaited a bond review from the commissioner and then transported to St. Mary’s County were additional charges are pending. Doyle was charged with Did possess a controlled dangerous substance, did [use/possess with intent to use] drug paraphernalia, to wit: crack cocaine smoking pipes, used to process/ prepare/ test/ analyze/ pack/ repack/ store/ contain/ conceal/ inject/ ingest/ inhale/ introduce into the human body by inhaling a controlled dangerous substance of schedule I to wit: cocaine.
