PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 13, 2007) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: During the overnight hours of Dec. 1, an unknown culprit forcibly entered Miss Bevs Place daycare center, in Dunkirk, and removed a Magnavox DVD/VCR, a computer monitor and hard drive, and a Playstation 2 console with 2 games. TFC Dawson is handling the investigation.
CONCEALED WEAPON: On Dec. 7, 3:30 AM, H. G. Trueman Rd., Lusby, TPR Saucerman stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the operator, Jeremy Alan Merchant, 24, of Lusby, was driving on a suspended license. Incident to arrest, a set of brass knuckles were recovered from between the drivers seat and the console. Mr. Merchant was then charged with possession of a concealed deadly weapon. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
POSSESSION OF ADDERALL: On Dec. 9, 1:33 AM, TPR Towers responded to Crazy Horse Trl., Lusby, for a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that the operator, Ann Marie Vass, 39, of Lusby, lost control of her vehicle while backing out of a driveway and ended up in some bushes. A consent search was obtained and suspected Adderall was recovered from the glovebox. Ms. Vass was then placed under arrest and charged with possession of Adderall. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
THEFT: Between Dec. 8 @ 9:00 PM and Dec. 09 @ 3:15 PM, an unknown culprit removed a gas generator from the front porch area of a residence on Birch Dr., Prince Frederick. TFC Stein is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On Dec. 9, 11:20 PM, Dares Beach Rd., Prince Frederick, TPR Saucerman stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon contact with the operator, TPR Saucerman detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was Eyon Kevin Giles, 18, of Lusby. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On Dec. 10, the owner of Town Square Auto Parts reported that an unknown culprit had attempted to enter the business by prying open a door. TPR Roy is handling the investigation.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On Dec. 10, a witness reported that an unknown culprit had tried to forcibly enter a residence on 9th St., North Beach. TPR Saucerman is handling the investigation.
