LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 29, 2007) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
MAN STEALS CAR LEFT RUNNING: On Nov. 28 just after 5:00 p.m. a driver left a 2003 Ford Windstar unlocked and running while they went into a store in Lexington Park for a quick purchase. In the time it took for the purchase, the suspect entered the vehicle and drove away. A lookout for the suspect and vehicle was broadcast. Deputy Anthony Whipkey and Trooper Eric Evans located the vehicle in a residential area and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect driver, Rodney Pernall McDow, 43, of Capital Heights, Maryland was placed under arrest charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and theft over $500.00. He was transported to the Detention Center pending a bond Hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT ARREST: Beverly Anne Lanham, 41, Lexington Park, arrested on 11/28/07 by Deputy First Class John Logalbo on a warrant for Driving on Suspended License.
WARRANT ARREST: Zean Travis King 26, Lexington Park, arrested 11/28/07 by Deputy First Class John Logalbo on a warrant for Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS.
WARRANT ARREST: Angelina Grace Ciampo 26, Mechanicsville, arrested 11/29/07 by Senior Deputy First Class K. Somerville on a warrant for Failing to Appear in court.
