MSP Warrant Arrests in St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 26, 2007) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following warrant arrest reports.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, November 23, 2007 at 9:29 pm TFC J. Linger initiated a traffic stop on a white Cadillac DeVille traveling south bound Route 235 in the area of Lincoln Avenue in Lexington Park. The Cadillac was stopped as a result of an equipment violation. During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with the driver, Ryan Marshall Edwards, 19, of Lexington Park. A NCIC check revealed Mr. Edwards was wanted by the State Police in Leonardtown. He was arrested by TFC Linger on an outstanding Circuit Court Warrant (T3-13154) issued November 15, 2007. The original charge was for Failing to Appear in Circuit Court on previous charges for Possession of CDS with intent to distribute. Mr. Edwards was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was found to be in possession of a plastic CDS smoking device with Cocaine. Mr. Edwards was additionally charged with possession of Cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia and he was incarcerated pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 6:45 pm, Louis Darnell Parker, 35, of California was arrested by TFC R. Rezza on a Circuit Court True Bill Indictment Warrant (T3-13157) for Possession of CDS which was issued November 18, 2007. Mr. Parker was served the warrant at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was being incarcerated on unrelated charges.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 1:00 pm, Kevin B. Wright, 23, of California was arrested by Tpr. D. Brill on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13164) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on November 20, 2007. The original charge was for DWI/DUI. Mr. Wright was served at District Court and taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond hearing.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:35 pm, Sherman L. Mackall, 47, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC M. Grimes on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13094) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on October 16, 2007. The original charge was Driving on a Suspended and Revoked License in addition to Driving Without a License. Mr. Mackall was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, November 23, 2007 at 10:25 am, Ryan H. Lumpkins, 21, of Piney Point was arrested by TFC M. Laney on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13137) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on November 2, 2007. The original charge was possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Lumpkins was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, November 23, 2007 at 10:00 pm, Bruce Wayne Proctor, 33, of Great Mills was arrested by TFC T. Quade on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13102) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on October 19, 2007. The original charge was DWI/DUI. Mr. Proctor was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 8:15 pm, Roger Lee Sexton, 55, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-13168) possession of CDS and 2 counts of Manufacturing and Distribution of CDS. Mr. Sexton was served the warrant at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was being detained on unrelated charges.
