LA PLATA, Md. - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest report.
ILLEGAL DRUGS: On October 10, 2007, at approximately 4 p.m., TFC J. Edelen responded to a Waldorf address in reference to a warrant service. Contact was made with Joey Ellis Irwin, 21, of Riverdale, Michigan, who was wanted through Ithica County, Michigan, for assault with intent to commit sexual penetration, second degree assault and failure to comply with registration act. A search incident to arrest revealed a multi-color glass smoking pipe containing marijuana in Irwin’s pant pocket. Irwin was taken to the Charles County Detention Center for processing. Irwin was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
