MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 9, 2007) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 12:23 am, TFC M. Grimes responded to a reported disturbance in the 21000 block of Hermanville Road in Lexington Park. Upon arrival, contact was made with both Mary Patricia Miles, 59, and James Milton Miles, 53, of Lexington Park. During the course of the investigation, both parties were interviewed concerning the disturbance and were subsequently arrested for Assault 2nd Degree. They were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where they were detained pending a bond review.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 11:25 am, TFC R. Rezza responded to the 26000 block of Morganza Turner Road in Mechanicsville for a reported theft from motor vehicle. Contact was made with the male complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) pried open the rear window of his purple Ford Ranger XLT. The suspect(s) then removed the Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo from the truck. Neighborhood checks were performed and the case in still under investigation.

ASSAULT: On Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:41 pm, TFC M. Grimes responded to the 22000 Oxford Court in Lexington Park for a reported disturbance. During the course of the investigation both parties involved in the disturbance were interviewed. Brandi Nicole Calhoun, 24, of Lexington Park was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. She was detained pending a bond review. Further charges are pending.

THEFT: On Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 1:47 am, Tpr. B. McCartney responded to a reported theft at the WAWA, 21265 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant who advised Robert Corey Lentz, 21 of Callaway stole some medications from the counter and left the premises. Tpr. C. Evans responded to the suspect's residence, took him into custody and transported Mr. Lentz back to the WAWA. During the investigation, Tpr. McCartney discovered that Mr. Lentz stole the pills and ingested approximately 24 pills. Mr. Lentz was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for emergency evaluation. Tpr. McCartney applied for a Criminal Summons (T15-8227) for the Theft Under $100 which was issued and subsequently served on Mr. Lentz at St. Mary's Hospital.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 2:15 pm, Mary Agnes Morgan, 37, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC T. Quade on an Arrest Warrant (T3-13134) issued November 1, 2007. The original charge was Assault 2nd Degree. She was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 6:05 pm, Lauren Ashlee Vandenbos, 27, of Grand Rapids, Michigan was arrested by TFC E. Evans for Failing to Follow Conditions of Probation (T3-10853). The original charge was related to a DWI from April 2004. Ms. Vandenbos turned herself in at the Leonardtown Barracks and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 12:05 am, John Michael Linassi, 18, of Mechanicsville was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an Arrest Warrant issued by District Court in Garrett County on October 17, 2007. The original charges are Theft Under $500, Theft Under $100 and Credit Card Fraud. Mr. Linassi was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
