Police Arrest Hughesville Burglary Suspect


Anthony Anderson Kinzer, 33, of Hughesville, who was wanted for committing a spree of burglaries.LA PLATA, Md. (November 7, 2007)—The Charles County Sheriff’s Office yesterday announced the arrest of Anthony Anderson Kinzer, 33, of Hughesville, who was wanted for committing a spree of burglaries.

The United States Marshals Service, based on "intelligence information," discovered Kinzer on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. at a residence in the 38400 block of Arlington Drive in Mechanicsville.

The three burglaries Kinzer was wanted for occurred in Hughesville. In addition to the burglary charges, Kinzer was also wanted in Charles, Prince George’s and Anne Arundel counties and by Fairfax, Va., police on other charges including possession of illegal narcotics with intent to distribute, assaulting police officers and other burglaries.

Kinzer was being held at the Prince George’s County Detention Center. Det. J. McKenzie investigated the Hughesville burglaries.
