Corporal Jeffery L. Kreps was recognized as Officer of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2007 by St. Mary's County Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron.
LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 5, 2007)—Corporal Jeffery L. Kreps was recognized as Officer of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2007 by St. Mary's County Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron.
Kreps has been assigned to the Transport Unit of the St. Mary's County Detention Center since February, 2005.
According to Cameron, Kreps organizes the inmate transports utilizing time management and logistical skills to ensure the efficiency of his staff. Kreps keeps the shift supervisors well informed of activities and availability of the Transport Unit as related to the daily activities of the Detention Center. Kreps was also recognized for his part in researching and designing a proposed transport vehicle for the department.
The Sheriff's Office recognizes one deputy and one correctional officer for their outstanding performance each calendar quarter.
