Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Dep. Nicholas DeFelice observed two individuals walking northbound on Md. Rt. 4 in front of the Fox Run Shopping Center on October 10 at 4:30 p.m. after receiving a complaint that they had been pushing each other into oncoming traffic. He made contact with the couple. The male, later identified as Leonard A. Long, 38 of Chesapeake Beach, leapt across the hedges and ran into the shopping center parking lot. DeFelice pursued Long on foot and apprehended him in front of the K-Mart. Long was charged with intoxication endangerment and disorderly conduct.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A victim on Loving Drive in Dunkirk returned home on October 10 around noon and observed a dark grey or black colored 4-door Lincoln parked on the side of the road. Shortly afterward, the victim observed a white male, between 16 and 18 years of age, about 5'10" to 6 feet in height with light brown hair, walk up the street and enter the vehicle, driving away. She then noticed a ladder propped on her back deck and the screen to an upstairs window broken off. It did not appear that the home had been entered or anything taken. CDS VIOLATION: DFC James Smith observed a vehicle in the area of Forbidden Beach in North Beach on October 10 at 7:30 p.m. sitting with no lights on. After making contact with the two occupants of the vehicle, the person in the driver's seat was found to be in possession of marijuana. Billy L. Sparks, 20 of Prince Frederick was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON: Dep. Thomas Rickard responded to the area of Avenue D and Beach Drive in St. Leonard on October 10 at 11:35 p.m. for a report of suspicious vehicles. He made contact with the owner and operator of a vehicle, later identified as Matthew W. Hance, 19 of St. Leonard. Rickard determined that Hance had been drinking and instructed him to remove the alcohol from his vehicle and empty it out. As Hance was reaching into the vehicle, Rickard observed a handgun. The gun was recovered and Hance was charged with possession of a concealed deadly weapon.

CDS VIOLATION: Dep. April Litteral responded to the Chesapeake Resort and Spa in Chesapeake Beach on October 12 at 10:30 p.m. for the report of unknown suspects smoking marijuana. Litteral went to the 3rd floor and observed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from one of the rooms. Dep. Litteral made contact with the five occupants of the room. The first one she made contact with, later identified as Wayne R. Bouchery, 44 of Woodbridge, VA, became aggressive and confrontational, bumping Dep. Litteral with his chest. He became increasingly combative as she tried to handcuff him for her own safety. After successfully handcuffing Bouchery and having him sit down, she conducted a search of the room and discovered marijuana and paraphernalia. All five occupants were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Arrested were Jason D. Hart, 24 of Stafford, Timothy M. Finley, 18 of Woodbridge, Michael T. Bouchery, 49 of Lorton, Preston L. Arnold, 20 of Woodbridge, along with Wayne Bouchery, who was also charged with second degree assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
