LEONARDTOWN, Md. (September 28, 2007) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BEER THEFT: 09/27/07 Deputy A. Whipkey responded to the McKay's Store on Signature Lane in Lexington Park for the report of a theft. Complainants at the business called police when they witnessed a white male suspect steal two thirty packs of beer and run from the business. Using his familiarity with the area, Deputy Whipkey exited his vehicle and proceeded down a dirt path where the suspect was last seen running. While on the path, Deputy Whipkey confronted the suspect, who was running with some of the stolen beer. The suspect, identified as Jeffery Keith Reid, 40, of Lexington Park, was taken into custody and charged with Theft under $100.
INDICTMENT ARREST: 09/28/07 SDFC Robert Russell arrested Robert Maurice Scriber, 34, of California, Maryland on a six count Circuit Court Grand Jury Indictment. The indictment was the result of a lengthy investigation by members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division. Scriber was transported to the Detention Center where he was held without bond.
WARRANT ARREST: 09/27/07 Deputy S. Lacey arrested Rodney Aaron Jones, 37, Waldorf, on District Court warrants charging him with Theft Over $500, Providing a False Statement, Failure to Appear as a Witness, Driving While Revoked , Driving While Suspended and Driving Uninsured. He was transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT ARREST: 09/28/07 Deputy S. Moses arrested Robyn Alana Thomas 39, of Baileyville, Maine, on a District Court warrant for Failure to Appear in District Court on charges of CDS Possession, Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Suspended. She was transported to the Detention Center and held without bond.
WARRANT ARREST: 09/27/07 Deputy S. Moses arrested Agnes Teresa Fenwick 36, of Lexington Park, on a Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear for a child support hearing. She was transported to the Detention Center and held without bond.
WARRANT ARREST: 09/27/07 Deputy K. Meyer arrested Jacob Lemaule Burch, 23, of La Plata, on a Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear. He was transported to the Detention Center where he was held without bond.
WARRANT ARREST: 09/27/07 Deputy J. Stone arrested Justin Robert Quade, 18, of Chaptico, for District Court warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to the Detention Center and held without bond.
