Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: Dep. Robert Traas made contact with a victim on Charles Street in Solomons who reported that between September 8 and 9 in the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) stole his motorcycle from in front of his residence. The blue and silver 2007 Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage S is valued at $20,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Traas at 410-535-2800.

CDS VIOLATION: Dep. Andrew Woodford conducted a traffic stop on Rousby Hall Road in Lusby on September 12 at 10:50 p.m. The driver, later identified as Francis W. Chamberlain IV, 20 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: DFC Ricky Cress responded to the Giant food store in Prince Frederick on September 12 at 2:40 p.m. for a disorderly male. Cress made contact with a man, later identified as John C. Valenti, 42 of Lusby, using profanity and being loud. He was asked to quiet down and exit the store. He complied but once outside, Valenti continued to be loud and use profane language. He was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

THEFT: A Prince Frederick Safeway store manager made contact with a woman seen pushing a cart full of groceries that she had not paid for, out the door on September 13 at 12:35 in the afternoon. The woman at first indicated she had a receipt but then could not produce one. DFC Paul Wood charged Katherine A. Hall, 52 of Prince Frederick, with theft.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES: Two victims, one on Beaudet Lane and one on 14th Street, both in Chesapeake Beach, reported to Dep. Brianne Gray that their vehicles had been broken into sometime between September 13 and 14. Both victims had items stolen from their vehicles totaling over $750. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Gray at 410-535-2800.

CDS VIOLATION: Dep. Daniel Deakins conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Rousby Hall Road in the area of CJ's Market in Lusby on September 16 at 3:49 a.m. The driver, later identified as Jason D. Pardoe, 23 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with both offenses.

BURGLARY: A home on Hatfield Road in Huntingtown was burglarized between September 9 and 16. The homeowner advised DFC Joseph Windsor that the house had been ransacked but it did not appear as though anything was missing. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Windsor at 410-535-2800.
