LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
VANDALIZED SODA MACHINE: On Monday, September 10, 2007 at 9:58 pm, TFC R. Rezza responded to 38000 block of Brett Way in Mechanicsville for the reported Theft and Malicious Destruction of Property to Pepsi vending machines. Contact was made with the male complainant, who advised an unknown male subject was seen in the area of the vending machines after they had been vandalized and the money removed. The unknown male suspect fled on foot from the scene. The investigation continues.
STOLEN GO-CART: On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 2:24 pm, Tpr. B. McCartney responded to a reported Burglary which occurred in the 26000 block of Mechanicsville Road in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the male complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) burglarized his garage and stole his go-cart. The go-cart is described as being black in color with pink padding around the roll bars and has a 50cc Briggs and Stratton engine. Investigation continues.
BURGLARIZED RESIDENCE: On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 5:25 pm, Tpr. B. McCartney responded to a reported Burglary which occurred in the 26000 block of Forest Hall Drive in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) burglarized her residence. A Winchester model 1300 Defender 12 gauge shotgun was taken in addition to several pieces of jewelry consisting of four necklaces and three diamond rings. The investigation continues.
COCAINE: On Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 3:59 am, TFC M. Moore was patrolling in the area of Monks Inn in the 48000 block of Trapp Road in St. Inigoes. He observed a male subject lying on the ground and responded to check on his welfare. TFC Moore detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person and he was unconscious and breathing. An ambulance was requested to render medical attention. A search of his person was conducted to obtain identification. A small baggie of cocaine was found on his person. The subject was identified as Derrick Clifton Marshall, 28, of Lexington Park. Mr. Marshall gained consciousness and refused medical attention. He was taken into custody and arrested for possession of cocaine and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
ROCK THROWN THROUGH WINDOW: On Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 7:15 am, TFC M. Grimes responded to a reported Malicious Destruction of Property in the 21000 block of Esquire Court in Lexington Park. The investigation revealed a rock had been thrown by a male juvenile of Lexington Park through a rear bathroom window. The juvenile was charged with the malicious destruction of property and he was released to his parents pending further action by Juvenile Services.
BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT: On Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 2:05 pm, TFC Nims was responding to a reported Armed Robbery which occurred at the 1st National Bank of St. Mary's on Washington Street in Leonardtown. While enroute, TFC Nims observed a male subject operating a bicycle on Lawrence Avenue. The description given by the Emergency Operations Center of the suspect was similar to that of the subject TFC Nims had stopped on the bicycle. The male subject was taken into custody when he became disorderly and yelling profanities. He was subsequently arrested for obstructing and hindering an investigation and resisting arrest. The male juvenile was transported to the Leonardtown Barrack and processed. The juvenile was turned over to the investigators of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
CDS: On Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 6:40 pm, Randolph Eric Jackle, 46, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans for possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Jackle was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
CDS, SUSPENDED LICENSE: On Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 7:25 pm, TFC J. Linger initiated a traffic stop on Mt. Wolfe Road in Charlotte Hall. The driver, Andrew Norman Brewer, 47, of Charlotte Hall was not restrained by the seat belt. A MVA check revealed Mr. Brewer was also driving on a suspended license. Mr. Brewer was arrested for driving on a suspended license in Maryland. A search incident to arrest revealed cocaine in Mr. Brewer's shirt pocket along with a CDS smoking device. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Brewer was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: On Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 9:51 pm, Tpr. B. McCartney responded to a reported Burglary in the 38000 block of Dukeharts Creek Road in Coltons Point. Contact was made with the female complainant and she advised unknown suspect(s) burglarized her residence and took $70.00, a Compaq computer tower and a 19" color television. No further information is available and the investigation continues.
WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 3:07 pm, Julie Anne Clarke, 40, of Loveville was arrested by TFC L. Nims on an outstanding Arrest Warrant for CDS possession. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST: On Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 6:45 pm, Dionte Anjuan Little, 25, of Waldorf was arrested by TFC L. Nims on an outstanding Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in District Court on August 24, 2007. The original charge was Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Little was incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, September 10, 2007 at 6:15 am, Johnny Carlyn Rossettos, Jr., 32, of Bryans Road was arrested by TFC K. Lashley on a Circuit Court True Bill Indictment for Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotics. Mr. Rossettos was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
