PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Sept. 13, 2007) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On Sept. 5, 2:57 PM, TPR Towers was on routine patrol in the Patuxent Business Park, Lusby, when he observed a suspicious vehicle. Upon contact with the operator, he detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana was recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana was a 17-year-old male from Lusby. He was also cited for underage possession of tobacco. After processing, he was released to a parent.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Sept. 8, between 12:20 AM and 4:42 AM, an unknown culprit spraypainted “OWC” on eight windows of a school bus shelter at Northern High School. CIT is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On Sept. 10, 1:30 PM, Dares Beach Rd., Prince Frederick, LT Rich stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the operator, Louise Claudetta Stewart, 52, of Lusby, was wanted on an open warrant by the St. Mary’s Co. Sheriff’s Office for uttering bad checks. Incident to arrest, a search was conducted by TPR Bodnar and a baggie of suspected marijuana was recovered. She was then charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, Ms. Stewart was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
THEFT: During the overnight hours of Sept. 10, an unknown culprit removed a purse, black leather with pink stripes, from a vehicle on Gunsmoke Ln., Lusby. TPR Towers is handling the investigation.
